From our state-of-the-art projection and clean, welcoming environment to how we interact with our guests in theaters and on our digital channels, we are committed to providing the most enjoyable guest experience. This policy serves to inform our guests (“you” or “your”) how we collect, store, and use your personal information to provide an effective online experience.
This privacy policy describes our data and privacy practices for information collected by Classic Cinemas and Tivoli Enterprises, Inc., its brands, subsidiaries, licensees, and affiliated companies (collectively, “we”, “our”, or “us”) through our website, www.classiccinemas.com, any other website, app, product, feature, or service we offer that posts or provides a valid link to this policy, participation in the Classic Rewards loyalty program, or any sweepstakes, promotion, or survey offered by us, disclosure of personal information to us through any other means including written or electronic communication (collectively, “Services”), and by Classic Cinemas offline, which we may combine with online data.
By accessing, using, submitting data to, or otherwise interacting with our Services or providing information to us, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. Please also review our Terms of Use, which also applies to your use of the Services. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, please do not use the Services or provide personal data to us.

There may be times when you are interacting with us when we provide additional information or ask for your consent for certain data processing. These additional disclosures supplement this policy and will apply to that feature or functionality.
We collect data about users of the Services directly, automatically when you visit the Services, and sometimes from third parties. Some of this data may be considered “personal information” or “personal data”, and some of which may be considered “sensitive”, under various applicable laws. We will also treat other information, including IP addresses and cookie identifiers, as “personal data” where required by applicable law, and we will treat certain personal data as “sensitive data” as required by applicable law.
Note that we may de-identify or pseudonymize personal data so that it is non-personal, such as aggregating (such as combining it with data about other individuals) and/or or converting it to a code, sometimes using a function commonly known as “hash”, or otherwise removing characteristics that make the data personally identifiable to you. We will treat de-identified or pseudonymized data as non-personal to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law. If we combine non-personal data with personal data, then we will treat the combined information as personal data under this Privacy Policy.
Data You Provide Directly
We may ask you to provide data directly, such as contact data (your name, street address, email address, phone number), and other data about you (for example, your birthday, account information such as a password and marketing preferences and other preferences and interests).
Payment Information. If you choose to purchase products or services through our Services, we may also collect payment information, such as credit card, billing, and other financial information, and information about your transaction history (such as the movies you see and the concessions you purchase). You also have the option to store payment information for future purchases. We may use third-party payment processors.
User Content and Submission Features. The Services may permit us to collect or for you to submit or post photos, audio, video, text, files, social media posts, responses to exit poll interviews, or other content (“User Content”) through interactive or other features, online or offline, such as reviews, Q&As, blog comments, gallery posts, or promotional activities (“Submission Features”). Your submission of User Content is subject to the Terms of Use [Link] for the Services which give us the right to use your User Content, online or offline, in connection with our promotional activities. Personal information, such as your name, user name (from the Services or your social media account), or where you reside, may be publicly displayed with your User Content. Others may access it, use it, and share it. We are not responsible for how others use User Content you submit or post. In addition, in connection with certain activities, your personal information may be disclosed publicly, for example, being identified as a winner of a sweepstakes or being awarded a prize.
Security Cameras & In-Person Events. We may record video or photographs that include you if you visit our locations (such as by security surveillance of our premises, including CCTV) or attend an event or showing as a member of the audience.
Customer Support. When you participate in a customer service or similar chat feature that we may make available, Classic Cinemas may record, use, and retain your communications and the data you provide in order to provide customer support, to improve our products and services, and for marketing purposes. If you do not consent, please do not continue with customer assistance.
You acknowledge that if you choose to post any information about your viewing history on a third-party platform, or by liking or sharing any content, the Video Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (18 U.S.C. § 2710) (or any similar state law) does not apply. However, to the extent it does apply in any manner, you are providing your informed, written consent to the disclosure of that information pursuant to the Video Privacy Protection Act.
Data We Collect Automatically when You Access or Use the Services
Cookies, Pixels, Tags, and Other Technologies. Classic Cinemas and our third-party business partners (including any third-party service providers or third-party content, advertising, and analytics providers) may use a variety of technologies, including cookies and pixel tags, that automatically or passively collect information on your access, usage, and other interactions with the Services (“Device ID/Interaction Information”).

Precise and Approximate Location Data. In some cases, we may directly collect precise location data through your device if you have opted in to the collection of that data. You may be able to turn off the collection of location data through the settings on your device. However, please note that we may still be able to collect or infer your approximate location through other data we collect, such as IP address. In addition, some mobile service providers may also provide us or our third-party providers with data regarding the physical location of the device used to access the Services.
Data We Collect from Third Parties
Enhancement Data. We may receive data about you from other third parties, such as data aggregators, joint marketing partners, third-party websites, service providers, and other business partners. We may also supplement the data we collect with outside records from third parties, such as public databases, publicly available social media pages, and third parties who enhance the data we have about you, in order to provide you with information or services you have requested, to tailor content, to offer you opportunities to purchase products or services that we believe may be of interest to you, and for other purposes. The data collected and stored by third parties is subject solely to the third party’s privacy practices.

We may share the data we have collected about you (including personal data) in the circumstances described below or elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, as disclosed at the time you provide data, or otherwise with your consent.
Tivoli Enterprises Brands. Tivoli Enterprises, Inc. has several brands, including Classic Cinemas. Except as prohibited by law, data collected by the Tivoli Enterprises Brands that may be used by the Tivoli Enterprises Brands for each of their own business, operational and marketing purposes in accordance with this privacy policy.
Third Party Advertising and Analytics Partners. As fully described in the section below titled "Third Party Advertising and Analytics Third Parties and Similar Third Parties", we share (or allow third parties to collect) certain data, including about how you use the Services, to target advertising to you and others and assess the effectiveness of our advertising, and for similar purposes.
Third Party Integrations/Other Third Parties to Whom You Agree or Direct Us to Share Your Data. We may share certain data when you interact with a third party that is integrated in our Services, for example, we use Elavon as our third-party platform provider. We may also include content on the Services provided by third-party form and product registration vendors, third-party partners like retailers and other organizations, and other third-party websites.
We may otherwise share your personal data when you consent or otherwise direct us to do so. For example, if you engage with third party payment options, such as Elavon, Google Pay, [or with another third-party payment feature, including through a social media application, platform, or other feature through which data is shared or if you consent to have your data shared in connection with a promotion we run with a third party.
Third Parties Providing Services on Our Behalf. We may share personal data about you with vendors who provide services on our behalf, such as fulfilling orders, providing processing or other information technology services, marketing our services to you on our behalf, carrying out research and analysis, and personalizing your guest experience, site and app development, website hosting, data analytics, product shipping, sending email or other communications, security and fraud prevention vendors, and similar entities. We do not allow these vendors to use this information or to share it for any purpose other than to provide services on our behalf.
Social Media and Other Third-Party Platforms. You may be able to use the Services to interact with social media or other third-party platforms, like Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, or any emerging platforms. When you interact with these third-party platforms through the Services, we will receive data about you from the third-party platform service and you will be choosing to share data about your interactions with Classic Cinemas with that social media service. Additionally, when you interact with our Services through third-party platforms, such as by tagging our social media profiles on the third-party social media or review platforms (e.g. Yelp, Google), posting on our profiles, or using an associated hashtag, we will receive data about you from the third-party platform service and you will be choosing to share data about your interactions with Classic Cinemas with that social media service. However, we will not post any non-public information, such as guest feedback and comments that you send to us through direct message or without clear reference to us (e.g. tagging, using associated hashtag) without your approval.In addition, the third-party platform service may set their own cookies and collect data about your use of the Services, including your IP address or other device identifiers, and which pages you visit on the Services. These third-party platforms may be able to collect certain data on your visits to the Services regardless of whether or not you affirmatively interact with the feature and whether or not you are logged into (or have) an account with the third-party platform. If you are logged out or do not have an account and visit a page with a social plug-in, your browser sends a more limited set of data. Like other sites, the third-party platform will receive data about the webpage you are visiting, the date and time of your visit, and other browser-related data. They may use that data to help them improve their products or for other purposes set forth in their privacy policy. We may also receive data about you if other users of social media give us access to their profiles and you are one of their connections or "friends."
The data we collect is subject to this Privacy Policy. The data collected and stored by the third party remains subject to the third party’s privacy practices, including, without limitation, whether the third party continues to share data with us, the types of data shared, and your choices with regard to what is visible to others on that third-party website or service. The third party may allow you to remove the application or feature, in which case we will no longer collect data about you through the application or feature, but may retain the data previously collected.
If you choose to post information to a third-party platform, that information may be public.
Sweepstakes, Contests, Promotions. We may offer sweepstakes, contests, or other promotions (any, a "Promotion"), that may require registration. By participating in a Promotion, you are agreeing to the provisions, conditions, or official rules that govern the Promotion, which may require specific requirements of you (including, without limitation, and except where prohibited by law, allowing the sponsor(s) of the Promotion to use your name, voice, likeness, or other indicia of persona in advertising or marketing materials). If you choose to enter a Promotion, personal data may be disclosed to third parties or the public in connection with the administration of such Promotion, including, without limitation, in connection with winner selection, prize fulfillment, as required by law or permitted by the Promotion’s terms or official rules (such as on a winners list).
Administrative and Legal Purposes. Classic Cinemas reserves the right to use or disclose any data as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request; to protect the integrity of the Services; to fulfill your requests; to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation, an investigation on a public safety matter, or an investigation into claims of intellectual-property infringement; to protect and defend the legal rights or property of Classic Cinemas, our affiliates and shareholders, any Services or its users, or any other party; or, in an emergency, to protect the health and safety of our users or the general public. We may also use Device Identifiers to identify users, and may do so in cooperation with copyright owners, Internet service providers, wireless service providers, or law enforcement agencies, in our discretion.
Business Transitions. In the event Classic Cinemas goes through a business transition, Classic Cinemas reserves the right to disclose and transfer all personal data related to the Services (including, without limitation, during the course of any due diligence process): (i) to a subsequent owner, co-owner or operator of the Services; or (ii) in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, bankruptcy, the sale of certain of Classic Cinemas’ ownership interests, assets, or both, or other company change. By providing your data, you understand and agree that we may transfer such data to the acquiring entity without your further consent, except where required by law.
Employment Applications. If you apply for a job with us, we or our applicant portal provider(s) may ask you to provide self-identifying information (such as veteran status, gender, and ethnicity) in conjunction with laws and regulations enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Providing such self-identifying information is voluntary, but if you do provide such information, we and/or our providers may submit that information to the appropriate government or regulatory agencies to fulfill reporting requirements and use that information to defend against employment-related complaints.
Non-Personal Data. Except as expressly prohibited by law, we may share non-personal data with third parties in our discretion, including anonymous, aggregated statistics, and hashed or otherwise de-identified or pseudonymized data (including email addresses), and/or our analyses derived from such data, including for targeted advertising purposes. We may also combine information about you with other customers and share the information in a way that does not link to a specific customer.
SMS/MMS/RCS Message Data. Notwithstanding anything else in this policy, Classic Cinemas does not share personal information we collect specific to our SMS/MMS/RCS text message programs (such as mobile number and record of consent) with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your specific consent.
We may use third-party business partners, such as analytics companies, ad agencies, network advertisers, and others who provide us with data about the Services, users, and our advertisements, and who deliver ads to you on our behalf on the Services and elsewhere online. We and our third-party business partners collect certain data about your visits to and activity on the Services and other websites and services, including as described in "Social Media and Other Third Party Platforms", and may use this data to target advertising to you and others and to assess the effectiveness of our advertising. We may also share (or permit third parties to collect) certain data, such as Device ID/Interaction Information, aggregated or de-identified, pseudonymized or hashed data (including email addresses), with these third parties for similar purposes.
These third parties may set and access their own tracking technologies on your device (including cookies, web beacons or other technology) and may otherwise collect or have access to your personal data over time, including about your visits to the Services as well as other websites and online services, some of which may be personal information or personal data under various state laws. Companies that we share data with, including ad agencies and networks, may use the data, often in combination with their existing data, in order to present more relevant advertisements that may be of interest to you, and to help us and third parties to do the same.
Please note that opting out through these mechanisms does not opt you out of being served advertising, and that you will continue to receive generic ads while online. Your opt-out choices are browser and device specific; if you disable your cookies, upgrade your browser after opting out or if you use multiple different devices, please opt out on each device and each browser separately.
Marketing Messages from Us. We may provide you with the option to update your information or to opt out of marketing communications through the profile and/or notification preferences section of your account. In addition, you may opt out of marketing communications as set forth below.
Updating Your Information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the data you submit to us, such as your contact data. You may update the data you have provided to us by logging into the "My Profile" setting or similar page on the Services and selecting “Edit Profile.” Classic Cinemas will make good faith efforts to make requested changes in our then active databases as soon as reasonably practicable. Note, however, that data may persist internally for administrative purposes and that residual data may remain on backup media or for other reasons. Classic Cinemas uses commercially reasonable measures designed to protect your personal data. However, no data transmission over the Internet, wireless transmission, or electronic storage can be guaranteed as 100% secure. Classic Cinemas cannot ensure or warrant the security of any data we collect. You use the Services and provide us your data at your own risk.
Classic Cinemas is a company in the US. Please be aware that the data we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. By using the Services, or providing us with any data, you fully understand and unambiguously consent to this transfer to, and processing, usage, sharing, and storage of your data in the United States and other jurisdictions, for which the privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country where you reside and/or are a citizen. As a result, this data may be subject to access requests from governments, courts, or law enforcement in the United States and other countries, according to the laws in those jurisdictions. Your data will also be disclosed to third parties as described in the Disclosure of Data to Third Parties section above.
The Services are general audience and do not target individuals younger than 18. We do not knowingly collect any personal information online from individuals younger than the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and think we have data about your child, please contact us at privacy@classiccinemas.com.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at our discretion at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the changed or modified Privacy Policy on our Services. We may also provide notice to you in other ways, such as through contact information you have provided. Any changes will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy (or such other act as specified in the revised Privacy Policy) will, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, constitute your consent to those changes. However, we will provide notice and obtain your consent (opt-in or opt-out) if required by law. Note that you may need to consent to our new policies to continue using the Services.
