When Everest was first released in 1998, it was the fastest rollout ever for a giant screen film and landed on Variety’s Top 10 Box Office list. The film shattered all previous attendance records and went on to become the highest grossing giant-screen documentary of all time. Digitally remastered in 16k resolution, this special edition will allow a new generation to experience this moving, critically acclaimed film. Director: Ed Viesturs NUISANCE BEAR (13 min) Documentary study of the polar bears who draw tourists to Churchill, Manitoba. Director: Jack Weisman VOICE ABOVE WATER (12 min) Voice Above Water is the story of Wayan Nyo, a 90 year old fisherman who can no longer fish due to the amount of plastic piling up in the ocean.
